Esta Resolución se aplica a la gestión de las incidencias que puedan surgir durante el desarrollo de las pruebas finales de evaluación en convocatoria ordinaria y extraordinaria del primer semestre en centros con calendarios de semestres cerrados, y en convocatoria ordinaria del primer semestre en centros con calendario de semestres abiertos, del curso académico 2021/2022. Se trata de atender circunstancias no contempladas en la Normativa de evaluación y de calificación de los estudiantes de la Universidad de Granada (BOUGR núm. 112, de 9 de noviembre de 2016), en la que se establece el procedimiento a seguir, condiciones y requisitos para la concesión, en su caso, de una convocatoria de incidencias en un contexto de normalidad académica.

The measures established by the health authorities last October once again led our University to adapt to a predominantly remote teaching model. The great effort made by all the members of the university community, in addition to the significant investment made in the previous months with regard to the provision of equipment and training, have made it possible to guarantee the continuity of teaching and assessment activities in a more than satisfactory manner.

In the second semester, teaching activities on undergraduate degrees at faculties and schools employing the "open" calendar (calendario de semestres abiertos) will commence on 3 February in an online mode, in accordance with the guidelines established by the health authorities and taking into account the exceptions indicated in the Order of 8 November, which allows “face-to-face attendance for experimental and rotating internships, Practicums, or similar activities, including research”.

The following instructions have been issued with a view to implementing and expanding on the Resolution of the Rector of the University of Granada of 24 November 2020, which extended the previously-adopted Covid-19 measures, in accordance with Royal Decree 926/2020 of 25 October, declaring a state of alarm to contain the spread of infections caused by SARS-CoV-2, and the Order of 23 November 2020, amending the Order of 8 November 2020, which modulated alert levels 3 and 4 as a result of the critical Covid-19 epidemiological situation in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia.
In view of the evolution of the health situation and the new extension of the measures adopted in accordance with Royal Decree 926/2020 of 25 October, declaring a state of alarm to contain the spread of infections caused by SARS-CoV-2, and the Order of 23 November 2020, amending the Order of 8 November 2020, which modulated alert levels 3 and 4 as a result of the critical Covid-19 epidemiological situation in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia and, moreover, with the aim of providing certainty to the university community and organising and planning teaching activities, the Rectorate of the University of Granada has decided, in agreement with the Rectors of the Andalusian public universities, to extend the measures currently in force, at least until the end of the teaching period of the first semester, under the terms indicated below.
